Human Trafficking Case Worker
FT Non-Exempt; benefit eligible

Post

Provides case management to human trafficking victims that addresses legal needs, emergency shelter, temporary housing, emergency food and clothing, advocating for victim in accessing other community services, and approving payment for emergency expense.

Development and implementation of needs assessments and action plans specific to the immediate and long term reintegration needs of each victim.

Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree preferred in related field and/or 3 years of case management experience
  • Minimum of one year experience working with victims of human trafficking.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) communication skills strongly preferred
  • Crisis intervention, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently and as a reliable team member
  • Provide copy of valid California driver license, have reliable transportation, and submit current proof of vehicle insurance
  • Consistent demonstration of positive, cooperative, self-motivated, and professional behavior
  • Work with individuals with different areas of expertise, knowledge and skill sets
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed
