Take Action – Free Action Cling

Post

With funding from a Sacramento Region Community Foundation’s Immediate Need Grant, WEAVE has been partnering with the Watt Avenue Partnership to develop a highly localized response to addressing sex trafficking in the area. A key outcome of this project will be a Community Action Kit designed for business owners and local residents seeking to combat trafficking as well as specialized resources for victims of trafficking seeking help. The Community Action Kit includes a variety of materials featured that will be distributed in conjunction with community trainings to educate business owners, employees, and residents about how to Recognize indicators of trafficking, Report suspected trafficking, and safely Refer a victim.
