What’s our Story?
At the soul of TRUE is the desire to make the world a safer place for everyone to live, love and thrive. The idea is simple; by weaving the community and their closets together we can find solutions to the epidemic of domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking. We believe that change begins with action. By choosing to shop, trade or donate at TRUE you are giving rise to a world of violence free living. Through a simple clothing trade, or donation to TRUE we can raise funds to support programs and services that allow WEAVE to continue keeping women, men and children safe, and move them from a place of fear to fearlessness.
TRUE responsibly recycles all clothing to ensure the least amount of waste in our landfills. Did you know that 5% of our landfills are composed of textiles? The EPA estimates that 99% of those textiles are reusable. Responsible recycling keeps your clothing out of landfills so we’re a happier, healthier planet.
