All of WEAVE’s services can be accessed by calling the Support and Information Line. WEAVE’s 24-Hour Support and Information Line offers immediate intervention and support by trained peer counselors. Help is available in over 23 languages.

Call whenever you feel the need to talk, regardless of whether the incident just occurred, or occurred months or even years ago.

Counseling Services

Counseling Services are offered in person. All services are provided by associates and trainees in the fields of Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, or Professional Clinical Counseling.

Intake

Domestic Violence Group Counseling

WEAVE provides free 15 week psychoeducational support groups. Examples of some of the topics that will be explored are healthy relationships, boundaries, and feelings. 

To start group counseling, clients complete a free assessment. Please call the 24/7 Support Line at 916-920-2952 to request the assessment.

CPS referred clients must complete a free assessment to enroll and an individual pre-session prior to starting group. 

Individual Counseling

WEAVE’s counseling program provides short term counseling for survivors to talk about experiences related to domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or sex trafficking, and gain the tools needed to cope with difficult emotions, improve self-esteem, self-determination and safety. 

Depending on the service you are seeking, counseling may be free or offered on a sliding scale. 

Therapists are trained in evidence-based and trauma-informed practices.

Sexual Assault Survivor Support Group

WEAVE offers an 8 week sexual assault support group. For more information please the 24/7 Support Line to schedule a free intake assessment. The 24/7 Support Line number is 916-920-2952.
